In the February 5 edition of Orthopedics This Week, a list of the Top US Sports Medicine Doctors was released with an astounding University of Pittsburgh representation. Out of the 19 surgeons named in the article, nine of them trained at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Five, including Freddie H. Fu, M.D., Christopher D. Harner, M.D., James P. Bradley, M.D., M.S., Neal S. ElAttrache, M.D. and C. Benjamin Ma, M.D. received their residence training in the department, while Brian J. Cole, M.D., M.B.A., Darren L. Johnson, M.D., Mark D. Miller, M.D. and Marc Safran, M.D. were sports medicine fellowship trained in the department.
Of the nine doctors representing the University of Pittsburgh in the article, three remain at Pitt today including Dr. Fu, Dr. Harner and Dr. Bradley. Congratulations on this great honor!
