On Monday night, senior DT Aaron Donald became the first Pitt player since 1980 to win a national defensive award when he took home the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, given to the top defensive player in the country. Aaron won trophy No. 2 on Wednesday night when he traveled to Houston for the Rotary Lombardi Award ceremony. The ceremony, which honors the nation's top lineman or linebacker, was broadcast live on the CBS Sports Network and featured finalists Donald, UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr, Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley and Missouri defensive end Michael Sam.

The conversation ranged from his approach on the field, to how it felt to win the Nagurski Trophy, to the quality of food at the banquets and advice for Aaron as he looks to his NFL career.
