While down in Greensboro, N.C. for ACC Media Day, Jared Shanker of ESPN sat down with sophomore receiver Tyler Boyd to discuss the impact that staying close to home has had on Tyler, as well as the impact that Tyler has had on his hometown of Clariton.

Boyd is coming off a season in which he was the nation's most productive freshman wide receiver with 85 catches for 1,174 yards and seven touchdowns. Entering this season, Boyd was named to three preseason watch lists, including the Biletnikoff Award (nation's most outstanding receiver), the Maxwell Award (college player of the year) and the Paul Hornung Award (nation's most versatile player).

Pitt opens camp next Monday, August 4. The 2014 home opener is set for August 30 at Heinz Field against Delaware.
