PITTSBURGH - ROOT SPORTSTM announced today a deal to bring an extensive schedule of Atlantic Coast Conference collegiate programming and live games to the regional sports network starting in the Fall of 2013.
"We are always excited to provide our viewers with more live games and programs featuring their favorite sports, teams and players," said Shawn McClintock, Senior VP and General Manager of ROOT SPORTS. "With Pitt's move into the ACC this year, fans will be able to follow the Panthers inaugural season in the conference as well as other ACC teams with a robust schedule of football, basketball and other live events."
Under this new agreement ROOT SPORTS will have access to over 140 live ACC games including select University of Pittsburgh football and basketball games:
17 Football Games
43 Men's Basketball Games
25 Women's Basketball Games
10+ Women's Basketball Tournament Games
12 Baseball Tournament Games
20 Other Olympic sports games
Additionally, the network will have the opportunity to air 39 half-hour ACC All-Access weekly magazine shows throughout the duration of the partnership.
