Panthers This Week Podcast (9/19) - FREE

Pitt Athletics has continued its multimedia offerings; but has added "Panthers This Week" a free magazine-style podcast program that offers news, insight and interviews from Pitt Athletics.

"Panthers This Week" offers post-game interviews from student-athletes and coaches as well as feature interviews with Pitt administrators and Focus on 452, a weekly interview with one Pitt student-athlete.

The program is hosted by Pitt junior Pat Mitsch. Pat has worked with Pitt Athletics as public address announcer for men's soccer as well as serving as color commentator for a Panthers All-Access broadcast of Pitt Baseball. Mitsch has been covering Pitt Athletics since his freshman year at Pitt as a member of the Pitt News staff; he also hosts a weekly radio show on Pitt's student-radio station, WPTS-FM.

Pitt podcasts are free and available for download to your computer or mp3 compatible multimedia device. "Panthers This Week" will be available for download every Wednesday in several places:

1. Under the "Audio" tab on the right-hand side of PittsburghPanthers.com
2. By selecting "Multimedia" from the top of the page and clicking "Podcasts"
3. In iTunes by searching for "Pitt Athletics"

Pitt Podcasts are also available after select athletic events and as previews of upcoming events.
