Men’s Soccer: Dan Lynd. Lynd recorded two shutouts last week for the Panthers who earned two ACC points with consecutive 0-0 draws against Virginia Tech and Syracuse. Lynd had 13 saves in the two games, including a phenomenal performance at Syracuse where he stopped 11 shots. The Panthers jump out of ACC action on Tuesday night when they host William & Mary before heading to Clemson on Friday. (Read More).


Football: Aaron Donald. Donald had six tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks in a 19-9 defeat at Virginia Tech last Saturday. The All-American candidate is leading the nation in sacks (1.60) and tackles for loss (2.40) per game. He has tallied at least one sack in every game this season and he is the active NCAA leader in career sacks with 26.5, which ties him for fourth all-time on Pitt’s career sacks list. (Read More).

Volleyball: Mechael Guess. The junior right side hitter had 19 kills (3.17/set) and hit at a .368 clip in two matches against Miami and No. 21 Florida State. Guess notched a match-high 12 kills against the Seminoles. She leads the team and ranks sixth in the ACC in hitting percentage (.330) and has the third most kills on the team with 160. (Read More).

Cross Country: Audrey Burger. Burger placed 28th overall at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational last Saturday to lead the Panthers. She posted a 5K time of 19:57.4, which was her fastest of the year. This was Burger’s first time as Pitt’s top finisher this season. (Read More).

Football: Devin Street. Street had five catches for 104 yards at Virginia Tech on Saturday. In the process, he moved into second place on Pitt’s all-time receptions list with 177. He needs just two catches to pass Latef Grim (1998-200) for the most catches in program history. Street ranks second in the ACC and 14th nationally in receiving yards per game (109.8). This was Street’s ninth career 100-yard receiving game and his third this season. (Read More).
