Men's Swimming & Diving: Adam Maczewski. Maczewski won the 100 Yard Backstroke at the Pitt Invitational in a season-best time of 47.59. He now owns the second fastest time in the nation in the 100 Back. (Read more).
OTHER TOP PITT WEEKLY PERFORMANCES
Men's Swimming & Diving: Mack Rice. The freshman broke the school record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:48.92 at the Pitt Invitational. That time ranks as the 14th fastest in the country this season. (Read more).
Men's Basketball: J.J. Moore. Moore led Pitt in scoring (14.7 ppg.), shot 53.8 percent (14-26) from the floor and averaged 6.0 rebounds per game in Pitt's 3-0 week. Against Oakland, he notched his first career double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes played. He also scored 20 points vs. Fordham. (Read more).
Volleyball: Jessica Wynn. Wynn tied a career-high with 19 kills against Marquette and set a school record with 10 kills in one set. She connected on 10 of her 18 swings in the second set alone and helped the Panthers win the set 25-22. (Read more).
Women's Basketball: Asia Logan. Logan scored 16 points on 6-7 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds in leading Pitt to its second consecutive victory, a 75-50 win over Siena at Fitzgerald Field House. (Read more).
PITT PLAY OF THE WEEK
Men's Basketball: James Robinson. With 10 seconds to go and Oakland leading Pitt 58-56, Robinson stole the ball in the backcourt and was fouled. He converted two game-tying free throws to send the game into overtime. Pitt eventually defeated Oakland 72-62 in overtime. (Read more).
