Pitt Honors Student-Athletes at Annual Senior Awards Banquet

Pitt guard and NFL nine time Pro Bowler Ruben Brown served as guest speaker

Pat Bostick joined the University of Pittsburgh athletic department in February of 2012 as the Assistant Director of Development. After getting his start in the annual fund, Bostick was elevated to Director of Development in 2014, shifting his primary focus to the cultivation of major gift support for Pitt Athletics and its more than 475 student-athletes.

Since transitioning to his role as major gifts officer, Bostick has helped Pitt Athletics secure several six-figure gifts and was involved in the procurement of a seven-figure pledge to the Pitt Football Championship Fund in April of 2017.

In addition to his fundraising work, Bostick is a member of Pitt’s External Operations Team and is frequently engaged in activities related to corporate sponsorships, suites and premium seating.
Prior to the fall of 2016, Bostick spent five seasons as the color analyst for Pitt Football broadcasts on the Pitt IMG Sports Network alongside the legendary Bill Hillgrove. He remains a frequent local radio and television guest, appearing most commonly on Pitt’s flagship radio station, 93.7 The Fan, during football season.

Bostick was a three-year football letterman at Pitt (2007-08, 2010), quarterbacking the Panthers to such memorable victories as their 13-9 upset of West Virginia in 2007 and 36-33 quadruple-overtime win at Notre Dame in 2008. He is an honors graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, earning two degrees during his time as a student-athlete at Pitt.

A Lancaster, Pa., native, Bostick resides in Mount Lebanon with his wife, Samantha, and their son, Trey.
