Kathy Duggan joined the athletic department in 2001 as the assistant director of athletic development. She was promoted to director of development/annual fund in July 2002.
As manager of donor services, she is responsible for overseeing priority seating for Panthers' football and men's basketball. Her other responsibilities include managing the Panther Club Chapters, overseeing endowed scholarships and coordinating the athletic department's Wheels of Support courtesy car program.
Prior to Pittsburgh, Duggan spent three years as a development officer at Kansas State where she was responsible for planning, developing and implementing "Plan 2000", Kansas State's communications plan for recommended levels of annual scholarship fund contributions for football season ticket holders in the stadium's priority sections. She also managed donor club level seating as part of the Wildcats' football stadium expansion.
She arrived at Kansas State following two years working in the athletic development office at Ohio University. She also worked at the University of Massachusetts athletic ticket office.
Prior to working at Ohio, Duggan spent five years as Circulation District Manager at the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, Mass.
A 1991 graduate of Westfield State College, Duggan received her bachelor's degree in mass communication. She went on to receive her master's degree in sports administration from Ohio University in 1997. Duggan is a native of Leeds, Mass.
