Dan Ricci started working with the Men's & Women's Track & Field and Cross Country teams in 2008. He over sees all aspects of the care and treatment of these athletes. Prior to returning to Pitt, Dan worked at Marshall University. While at Marshall, he worked with the Football, Men's Basketball and Baseball teams.

After finishing his Graduate Degree in Sports Medicine from Pitt in 2006, Dan returned to Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, his Alma Mater, for a semester to work with the Women's Volleyball and Men's & Women's Track & Field teams. He graduated from Slippery Rock in 2003 with a B.S. in Athletic Training.

Dan and his wife, Becca, were married in the summer of 2011 and reside in Pittsburgh.
