An employee of the University of Pittsburgh for 24 years, Donna Sloan begins her 16th year in the athletic department as the assistant director of student life.
Sloan previously worked with the University's office of student accounts, where she was an administrative aide.
Sloan coordinates all activities related to financial aid and provides student services. She is also responsible for maintaining sports budgets and coordinating the George I. Carson Fellowship and Panther Game Plan Degree Completion Program. She earned an associate's degree in business from Duff's School of Business in 1978.
Sloan's interests outside the Pittsburgh Athletic Department involve music and community youth outreach. She is a choir director and youth outreach director at the Christ Missionary Baptist Church of Homewood. Sloan has one son, Corey, who is 13 years old.
