The University of Pittsburgh Department of Athletics is pleased to offer you this thrilling opportunity! Beginning in May, we'd like you to join us in the Petersen Events Center to "Select Your Seats" for the new venue. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to check out the facility and see the view from all angles before choosing where you would like to sit for all the action!
The seat selection process will begin in May. Appointments will be scheduled in the following priority order:
1) Team Pittsburgh Members (by active Priority Point Rank)
2) Current Season Ticket Holders
3) New Season Ticket Holders
4) General Public.
Please note: The Athletic Department will be scheduling appointment times based on the schedule included. You will be notified of your appointment time in April. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, you may send a representative to select your seats, or have the Athletic Department select the best available seats at the time of your appointment. Appointments cannot be rescheduled.

Team Pittsburgh members have the distinct honor of being the first to select their seats in the Petersen Events Center. Selection will be by appointment only. Exclusive appointment times will be assigned in April (for May selection) based on your Priority Point ranking as of March 20, 2002. Annual donations to the Team Pittsburgh Athletic Scholarship Fund must be made prior to this date to be applied to your Priority Point total for seat selection appointments.
If you have considered raising your donation level, there has never been a better time! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to select your very own seats. An increase in your donation level now could directly affect the date and time of your appointment. Just think...an earlier appointment could mean seats on the aisle or moving closer to mid-court!

Interested in reserving an earlier appointment to select your seats? Join Team Pittsburgh by March 20, 2002 (it's more affordable than you think) and you will be selecting your seats up to a week earlier! Faculty & Staff
In appreciation of the support that we have received from the faculty/staff,
not only are we offering you a season ticket discount, we have scheduled
exclusive appointments for the seat selection process. Please note that all
current basketball season ticket holders and active Team Pittsburgh members
will automatically be scheduled for an appointment. If you are not a
current season ticket holder and wish to purchase basketball season tickets
for the 2002-03 season, we offer two convenient ways to contact us and
schedule an appointment time before the March 20th deadline:
1) E-mail us at kmchugh@athletics.pitt.edu. The subject line of your e-mail
should read "Select Your Seats Appointment Request." Please make mention
that you are faculty/staff and include your full name, address and phone
number. In early April we will send you your appointment time.
2) Call us at 412-648-8209. If you reach a voicemail system, please make
mention that you are faculty/staff and speak clearly while leaving your full
name, address and phone number. In early April we will send you your
appointment time.

Parking
Season parking permits will be issued at a price of $90.00. Lots will be assigned first to Team Pittsburgh members based on Priority Points, then on a first come, first served basis for season ticket holders who are not Team Pittsburgh members.
Group Seating
Team Pittsburgh members and Season Ticket Holders wishing to be seated in groups can do so by submitting a request in writing to the Athletic Department no later than March 20, 2002. Team Pittsburgh members choosing to sit in groups will have the Priority Points of each member of the group averaged. One appointment will be made for all parties based on the average ranking. Please submit your letters to the address below, to the attention of Kathy Duggan. Please note: All group members must be active Team Pittsburgh members in order to average points. If a member of your group is not an active Team Pittsburgh member, your points cannot be averaged and your appointment will take place after all Team Pittsburgh members. Payment Options
During your scheduled appointment to select your seats, you will have two payment options:
1) Pay for your season tickets IN FULL.
2) Put down a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 1/2 the season ticket balance due. Final payment will be due no later than July 31, 2002.
The Ticket Office in the Petersen Events Center will be open for business during the Select Your Seats event and will gladly accept cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
