Directions to Founders Field

  • Site of all home games for University of Pittsburgh Women's Soccer
  • Site of two home games for Pittsburgh Men's Soccer

    Please allow extra time to travel to Founders Field as there could be major delays with either route you take.

    FROM PITTSBURGH:

  • Take Route 28 North * (Please know that there is heavy construction on this road, and you may encounter delays, especially during rush hour, between 3 and 7:30 p.m.).
  • Take Exit 11.
  • As you loop around the exit, make an immediate left…do not go to the light.
  • You will now see a sign that will direct you to Rt. 28 (Pittsburgh), and another directing you to Route 910 West. TAKE THE 910 WEST EXIT.
  • Stay on Route 910 for a few miles, and landmarks will be Commerce Bank on the right, Allegheny Steel on the right.
  • Just past the Emmerling Plaza, turn right on Cove Run Road.
  • Then turn left on Eisele Road. Founders Field Parking Area will be on the left.

    An alternate route could be taken from the University of Pittsburgh campus.

  • Take 5th Avenue, traveling east.
  • Just past Mellon Park, on your left, bear left and cross over Penn Avenue.
  • Stay on this road, which will turn into Washington Boulevard.
  • Take Washington Boulevard and follow the signs to the Highland Park Bridge.
  • Cross the Highland Park Bridge, and follow the signs to Route 28 North.

    FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ABOVE FROM ROUTE 28 NORTH.

    Another Alternative Route to Founders Field

  • From the PA Turnpike - Take Turnpike Exit #5
  • Bear right and get onto Freeport Road.
  • There will be a Wendy's on the right.
  • Turn right at the next light. There should be signs there for Route 28 and Route 910.
  • Go under the overpass and follow the signs for Route 910 West - Indianola, Pa.
  • Stay on Route 910 for a few miles and landmarks on the right will be Commerce Park and Allegheny Steel.
  • Just past the Emmerling Plaza, turn right on Cove Run Road.
  • Then turn left on Eisele Road. Founders Field parking area will be on the left.
