    2001 Men's Soccer

    Directions to Quaker Valley High School (Sewickley, Pa.):
    Follow Route 65 North (Ohio River Blvd.) through Sewickley. Go straight through traffic light in Leetsdale at the Quaker Valley Plaza. Turn right into the Quaker Valley High School stadium parking lot just past the shopping plaza.

    Directions to Shaler Area Stadium:
    Take Route 28 North to Route 8. At Route 8, turn left and follow Mt. Royal Blvd. Bear left onto Mt. Royal Blvd. and turn left onto Wetzel Road at the first traffic light. Follow Wetzel Road to bottom of hill and bear right. Follow to top of hill. At stop sign, make half left turn onto Wible Run Road. Follow Wible Run Road to entrance of high school on right. Bear right at top of driveway and wind around to top of hill.

    Directions to Founders Field:

  • Site of two home games for Pittsburgh Men's Soccer

    Please allow extra time to travel to Founders Field as there could be major delays with either route you take.

    FROM PITTSBURGH:

  • Take Route 28 North * (Please know that there is heavy construction on this road, and you may encounter delays, especially during rush hour, between 3 and 7:30 p.m.)
  • Take Exit 9
  • As you loop around the exit, make an immediate left…do not go to the light.
  • You will now see a sign that will direct you to Rt. 28 (Pittsburgh), and another directing you to Route 910 West. TAKE THE 910 WEST EXIT.
  • Stay on Route 910 for a few miles, and landmarks will be Commerce Bank on the right, Allegheny Steel on the right.
  • Just past the Emmerling Plaza, turn right on Cove Run Road.
  • Then turn left on Eisele Road. Founders Field Parking Area will be on the left.

    An alternate route could be taken from the University of Pittsburgh campus.

  • Take 5th Avenue, traveling east.
  • Just past Mellon Park, on your left, bear left and cross over Penn Avenue.
  • Stay on this road, which will turn into Washington Boulevard.
  • Take Washington Boulevard and follow the signs to the Highland Park Bridge.
  • Cross the Highland Park Bridge, and follow the signs to Route 28 North.

    FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ABOVE FROM ROUTE 28 NORTH.

    2000 Women's Soccer

    Directions to Founders Field:

  • Site of all home games for Pittsburgh Women's Soccer

    Directions to Fitzgerald Field House

    From Pittsburgh International Airport
    1. Take I-279 toward Pittsburgh. Pass through the Fort Pitt Tunnel, stay to the right, and bear right at the first ramp over the bridge onto I-376.
    2. Exit I-376 at the Oakland/Forbes Avenue Exit.
    3. Turn left at the third light (McKee Place).
    4. Proceed straight through next two lights.
    5. You are now on Darragh Street. Proceed up the hill to the stop light at Allequippa Street. Fitzgerald Field House is on your right. The OC Parkling Lot is on your left.

    From the Pennsylvania Turnpike
    1. Take the Pittsburgh/Monroeville Exit (Exit 6). Follow I-376 toward Pittsburgh.
    2. Take the Oakland Exit (Exit 7). Proceed up the hill through the first traffic light.
    3. Make the second left after the light onto McKee Place.
    4. Continue straight through two traffic lights, up the hill. You are now on Darragh Street.
    5. Proceed up the hill to the stop light at Allequippa Street. Fitzgerald Field House is on your right. The OC Parkling Lot is on your left.

    From the North
    1. Take I-79 South to I-279 South to I-579 (Crosstown Blvd.)
    2. Exit at the Boulevard of the Allies (Exit 14) toward Monroeville/Oakland.
    3. Turn left onto Halket Street beside Magee Hospital.
    4. Turn right onto Forbes Avenue.
    5. Take the first left onto McKee Place.
    6. Continue straight through two traffic lights, up the hill. You are now on Darragh Street.
    7. Proceed up the hill to the stop light at Allequippa Street. Fitzgerald Field House is on your right. The OC Parkling Lot is on your left.

    From the South
    1. Take I-79 North to I-279 North towards Pittsburgh.
    2. Pass through the Fort Pitt Tunnel, stay to the right, and bear right at the first ramp over the bridge onto I-376.
    3. Exit I-376 at the Oakland/Forbes Avenue Exit.
    4. Turn left at the third light (McKee Place).
    5. Proceed straight through next two lights.

    Baseball

    Directions To Trees Field
    After following the directions to the Fitzgerald Field House, you will end up at the top of the hill on Darragh Street. (Fitzgerald Fieldhouse will be on your right).
    Turn left at light, immediately get into the right lane, bare around to the right. Make a second right and follow the road down the hill. You will pass Towerview parking garage on your right, Trees Field is directly below the parking garage.
    You can turn into the entrance to Towerview Garage and the field will be directly in front of you.

    Women's Tennis

    Directions to Washington Landing

  • Turn left onto Craig Street from Forbes Avenue or Fifth Avenue.
  • Follow Craig Street to the Bloomfield bridge.
  • Veer right onto the Bloomfield Bridge.
  • At the traffic light at the end of the bridge make a left onto Liberty Avenue.
  • Follow Liberty Avenue to 40th Street and make a right (there will be a BP Station on the left hand side of Liberty Ave.).
  • Follow 40th Street to the 40th Street Bridge.
  • Cross the bridge and make a left onto route 28 and make a left onto the 31st Street Bridge and make an immediate right and then an immediate left.
  • Cross the "mini" bridge and veer to the left.
  • Follow to the end and you'll be at the tennis courts.

    Women's Softball

    Directions To Lind Field At Fairhaven Park

    From the North, take I-79 South
    From the South, take I-79 North

  • Off I-79, take Exit 60A - Crafton (Old Exit Number 16B)
  • Turn right off the exit ramp heading south
  • Turn left at the next traffic light onto Lorish Road. Landmarks include a King's Restaurant
  • Follow Lorish Road for approximately two miles
  • Turn left on Clever Road. Kennedy Center will be on your right
  • Turn right at the next stop sign onto Fairhaven Road
  • Make the first left into Fairhaven Park
  • Go through the next stop sign, to Lind Field
