2004-2005: Amy Miteff comes back to the Panthers after making her third consecutive trip to the Big East Championships...placed fourth in the fly at the Big East Championships with a time of 2:03.68 and ninth in the 100 fly...her time in the 1000 free placed her in the top-10 Big East swimmers in 2005...had the team's highest GPA-a perfect 4.0.
2003-2004: Miteff had a breakthrough sophomore year with the Panthers, scoring in both the 100 and 200 fly at her second Big East meet...finished seventh in the 200 fly with a career-best time of 2:03.32...also placed 14th in the 100 fly for the Panthers...a Big East Academic All-Star.
2002-2003: Miteff paid immediate dividends in her freshman year with the Panthers, placing in the top five on the team in six different events...ranked third on the team in the 200 back (2:08.74), 100 fly (56.97), and the 200 fly (2:03.90)...competed in her first Big East Championships and scored in the 100 and 200 fly...a Big East Academic All-Star.
HIGH SCHOOL: Miteff was a two-time county and district champ at Wellington High School for each of her four seasons...holds the school record in the 100 fly and 100 back...named All-American in the 100 fly for three years and All-American in the 100 back in her last year...a National Honor Society member.
PERSONAL: Born April 14, 1984...daughter of Daniel and Kathy Miteff...has one sister...a rehabilitation science major.
