Six others will compete in the consolation finals tonight.
Wednesday's events include the 800 free and 200 medley relays.
The Panthers posted wins over Carnegie Mellon, Clarion and Grove City.
2011-2012: Qualified for the Big East Championship...competed in the 200 IM and 100 back at the conference tournament...placed first in the 200 IM at the Senior Recognition Meet...touched first in the 200 IM during the senior meet at Trees Pool (Feb. 4).
2010 - 2011: Qualified for the Big East Championships...placed among the League's top 20 in the 400 IM...finished in the top 25 for the 200 IM and 200 back...earned his first ECAC medal after finishing seventh in the 200 back...achieved a top 20 finish in the 200 back at the Frank Elm Invite.
2009-10: Qualified for his second Big East Championships meet...also meet ECAC Championship standards during the season...turned in a sixth-place personal-best finish in the 500 free and placed seventh in the 400 IM at the ECAC Championships...boasted a second-place performance in the 200 back against Carnegie Mellon during the regular- season finale.
2008-09: A Big East qualifier, Christoph Berger recorded team top-five times in the 200 back (third), 1000 free (third), 200 IM (third) and 200 fly (fourth).
High School: Earned the 400 IM National Championship title while competing in the Switzerland's National Swimming Championships....finished second in the 200 IM and 100 and 200 back at the Swiss Championships...four-year regional champion in the 100 free and 200 IM...Swimmer of the Year as a freshman and senior...named a three-time team MVP...holds two Central Region records...collected 13 of the 16 individual school records and aided five relay records...garnered the Coaches Award...advanced to the state meet with the Hanover High School relay team in 2007...competed at states three times during his career...participated in the NCSA twice...won the Novice Summer Championship as a diver in 2007...participated in the 2007 summer long course junior nationals...member of the Academic Honor, Beta Club and National Honor Society...selected as a Scholastic All-American (2006, 2008)...letterwinner in track and collected the 2006 team MVP honor in cross country.
