2012 - 2013: In home-opener against St. Bonaventure, Bergman placed third in the 1M diving event and fourth in the 3M diving event...Placed third in the 1 meter diving and fifth in the 3 meter diving events against Virginia...At away meet against Cincinnati he placed second in the 3M diving event (307.05) and third in the 1M diving event (270.66)...Placed sixth in both the 1 and 3 meter diving events against Notre Dame scoring 272.70 and 287.17 respectively...Finished thrid in the platform diving at the Pitt invitational as well as finishing fourth in the 1 and 3 meter diving...Finished third in the men's 1 meter dive against West Virginia with a score of 285.07... Placed fourth in the men's 1 meter dive and sixth in the 3 meter at the Western Pa. Invitational.
2011 - 2012: Named the Most Improved Diver for the 2012 season...finished fourth on the 3M board in his first ever Big East Championship...placed third in an exhibition final in the platform event during the Big East Championship...took third in the 1M diving event and 3M event against Cincinnati (Nov. 11).
High School: Competed as a gymnast for 11 years...fell in love with diving after suffering a career-ending injury.
Personal: Son of Sam and Elisa Bergman...has an older brother, Charles...enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
