2015-16: Participated in the 200 yard freestyle relay and 400 yard medley relay, took third in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:07.95) and the 200 yard breaststroke (2:24.24), and competed in the 400 yard IM against Bucknell... Participated in the 100 yard breaststroke, the 200 yard beaststroke, and the 200 yard medley relay while helping the 200 yard freestyle relay place second against Georgia Tech...Started her senior season against Duke helping in the 200 fly and 200 breast and finishing third in the 200 IM along with swimming for the 200 medley relay team.
2014-15: In the season opener against Duke, won both the 100 free and 200 free and was on the runner-up 400 free relay team ... Finished second in the 200 free and 100 free and helped Pitt to first in the 400 free relay at Georgia Tech/Georgia Southern ... Against St. Bonaventure, was second in the 100 free and led Pitt to the fastest finish in the 200 free relay ... Won two races, the 100 free and 200 free versus Bucknell, and helped Pitt post the fastest time in the 400 free relay ... At Notre Dame/Virginia Tech, placed third in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 fly ... At the Pitt Invite, won the 100 free and placed second in the 200 free, along with swimming on four top-two relay teams, including the winning 200 free relay and 400 free relay squads ... 2013-14: Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll ... Finished first in the 200 medley relay against Bucknell... Finished second in the 1000 freestyle against Bucknell... Finished first in the 100 freestyle against Bucknell...Against Notre Dame and Virginia Tech, he placed third in the 100 yard freestyle...At the Pitt Panthers Invitational, he earned six first place finishes in the 200 yard freestyle relay, the 200 yard medley relay, the 500 yard freestyle, the 400 yard medley relay, the 100 yard butterfly and in the 800 yard freestyle relay...Swam in the AT&T Winter Nationals where he swam in the 200 free relay which earned eleventh place and set a season best time for the Panthers... Placed first in the 100 butterfly against Virginia...At the ACC Championships he swam in the record setting 800 free where he also led the relay with a new 200 free school record (136.27)...Personal best time in the 50 free (20.25) at the ACC Championship...Advanced to the consol final in the 200 free at the ACC Championship...Earned Most Valuable Swimmer for the 2013-2014 season.
2012-13: Named Team MVP as a freshman...Part of the winning 200 medley relay team against Virginia where he also placed third in the 200 free (1:40.41)...At away meet against Cincinnati Sweeney won the 1000 free (9:34.69), placed second in the 100 free and third in the 200 fly...Against Notre Dame he placed second in the 500 free (4:36.55) and third in the 1000 free (9:38.14)...At the Pitt Invitational he had a career-best in the 50 free, 100 fly, 200 free and 100 back...also won the 200 free...At the ATaT Winter Nationals at the University of Texas, Sweeney placed 17th in the 1650 (15:53.56) ...At West Virginia, he placed first in three events including the 1000 free (9:33.88), 100 free (45.93) and the 500 free (4:35.93)...He also anchored the first place 400 free relay team at West Virginia.
High School: Was Georgia State Champion for Division 1-4A in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:39.15...received Coaches Award for the Tidal Wave Swimming Club in four consecutive years in 2009-12, where he swam for 10 years...from Dallas, Texas.
