Both teams had top-50 GPA's in the entire country.
Panthers set six school records while Kaleigh Ritter is a medalist in the 1650 free.
The Pitt women win four dual meets while the men win two.
On Saturday, 17 seniors will be honored following the meet.
2014-15: Placed fifth in the 200 fly both against Duke and Georgia Tech/Georgia Southern ... Took second in the 100 fly versus St. Bonaventure ... Participated in two championship finals at the Pitt Invite, placing sixth in both the 100 fly and 200 fly ... Was the top Pitt swimmer in the 200 fly against West Virginia, placing third ... Grabbed second in the 200 fly at Denison ... Won the 500 free and was runner-up in the 200 fly at the Senior Recognition Meet ... Snagged second in the 200 butterfly against Villanova ... Placed 22nd in the 1650 free at the ACC Championships, going out in a career best 10:34.67 in the 1000 and finishing in a lifetime best 17:30.38.
2013-14: Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll ... Finished second in the 200 butterfly against Bucknell...Finished first in the consolation final in the 500 Freestyle at the Pitt Invite...Finished sixth in the 100 butterfly at the Pitt Invite...Finished first in the 200 butterfly at the Pitt Invite...Earned a third place finish in the 200 butterfly against JMU and Denison...Finished first in the 200 fly at the Western Pa. Invite...Competed at the ECAC Championships where she went a career best time and had a fifth place finish in the 500 freestlye...She swam in the final of the 200 butterfly at the ECAC Championship where she finished sixth overall.
2012-13: Placed third in the 200 fly and fourth in the 100 fly in home-opener against St. Bonaventure...Finished second in the 100 fly (59.39) against Virginia...On the road against Cincinnati Bolek placed second in the 200 fly (2:07.68) and third in the 100 fly (59.61)...Placed fifth in the 200 fly against Notre Dame while also swimming in the 100 fly and 400 yard freestyle relay...Took second in the 200 butterfly preliminary heat as well as fourth in the same event's consolation final at the Pitt Invitational...Earned a fourth place finish in the women's 200 yard butterfly as well as sixth place in the 100 fly against West Virginia...Took first place in the women's 200 yard butterfly at the Western Pa. Invitational as well as helping her group to a vicotry in the 200 yard medley relay.
2011-12: Qualified for the Big East Championship...placed 11th in the 200 fly with a team season-best 2:02.67 at the Big East Championship...finished in the top 25 of the 100 fly (56.79) at the conference meet...achieved the squad's top time in the 200 fly...claimed first in the 200 fly against Buffalo on Oct. 21 with a time of 2:07.35, earning Pitt Performer of the Week...placed third in the 1,000 free against Cincinnati (Nov. 11)...closed second in the 100 fly against West Virginia (Jan. 7).
High School: Recorded lifetime bests in the 2011 Junior Nationals in every event she competed...earned All-Met and All-Gazette honorable mention accolades her senior year...placed third in the 100 fly at the 2011 county high school meet...trained with Jim Williams and the Rockville Montgomery Swim Club during her senior year.
Personal: Born December 1, 1993...daughter of Joe and Maribeth Bolek...has three siblings: TJ, Annie and Katie...enrolled in the College of Business Administration.
