For the second time in three years, both the men's and women's swimming and diving programs were honored as Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), the organization announced last week.

2013 - 2014: Placed first in the 1M diving event against St. Bonaventure...At the Pitt Panthers Invitational, he took first place in the 1M competition...Finished third on the 3M board (311.55) in win at WVU...Took first in the 1M dive against Denison...Finished 15th on the 1M diving event at the ACC Championships...Finished 10th in the 3M dive at the NCAA Zone A Qualifying Meet.
2012 - 2013: In home-opener against St. Bonaventure, Bergman placed third in the 1M diving event and fourth in the 3M diving event...Placed third in the 1 meter diving and fifth in the 3 meter diving events against Virginia...At away meet against Cincinnati he placed second in the 3M diving event (307.05) and third in the 1M diving event (270.66)...Placed sixth in both the 1 and 3 meter diving events against Notre Dame scoring 272.70 and 287.17 respectively...Finished third in the platform diving at the Pitt invitational as well as finishing fourth in the 1 and 3 meter diving...Finished third in the men's 1 meter dive against West Virginia with a score of 285.07...Placed fourth in the men's 1 meter dive and sixth in the 3 meter at the Western Pa. Invitational.
2011 - 2012: Named the Most Improved Diver for the 2012 season...finished fourth on the 3M board in his first ever Big East Championship...placed third in an exhibition final in the platform event during the Big East Championship...took third in the 1M diving event and in the 3M event against Cincinnati (Nov. 11).
High School: Competed as a gymnast for 11 years...fell in love with diving after suffering a career ending injury.
Personal: Son of Sam and Elisa Bergman...has an older brother, Charles...enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
