2008-09: A team captain, Allie Horvath was voted the team's most improved swimmer at the season ending awards banquet...during the Big East Championships, she reached the consolation heats of the finals in both the 200 back (14th) and 100 back (16th)...named Performer of the Meet against West Virginia...finished first in the 200 back in the five-squad meet to close out the season...recorded a second-place finish at that meet in the 100 back...swam the third-fastest team time in the 200 back and was in the top five for the 100 back.

2007-2008: Allie Horvath was named a Pitt Performer of the Meet against Clarion, Denison and Duquesne after recording a lifetime best time in the 200 back, and earned her first collegiate dual meet individual win in that event. 2006-2007: Horvath competed in the 100 and 200 free and 100 back in her first Big East Championships...finished third in the 100 back against St. Bonaventure and in the 500 free in the home finale against Clarion and Duquesne. HIGH SCHOOL: Horvath was a finalist at state qualifiers all four years at Badin...voted a three-time most valuable swimmer...three-time GGCL all-star first team selection and Cincinnati Enquirer honorable mention for the All-Star team...member of the Miami Valley Aquatic Club for nine years, which included being a four-time sectional qualifier...member of the Greater Miami Valley YMCA and won their most valuable swimmer award...named GGCL scholar athlete of the year...class valedictorian. PERSONAL: Born on August 21, 1987...daughter of Tom and Terri Horvath...has one sister...a neuroscience major with a premed focus.
