2012 - 2013: Against St. Bonaventure Medhat-Mohamed finished second in the 50 free (21.61) and 200 free relay as well as fourth in the 100 free...placed third in the 100 free (46.48) against Virginia and part of the first place 400 free relay team...against Cincinnati he placed first in the 100 free (46.55) and third in the 50 free...against Notre Dame he placed fourth in the 200 free and fifth in the 100 free...at the Pitt Invitational he had a career best in the 50 free (21.29) and placed eighth in the 100 free (45.93) also part of the winning 400 free relay...earned first place finishes in the men's 200 yard freestyle and 400 yard freestyle relay while also placing third in the 100 free against WVU...aided in the second place finishes of the 200 medley and 200 free relay teams while placing first individually in the 500 free at the Western PA Invitational.
2011 - 2012: Voted Co-Most Valuable Swimmer...chosen as an Academic All-America...named a CSCAA Academic All-America...earned All-Big East accolades and set a school record with an NCAA provisional time as a member of the 400 medley and 800 free relay teams...led off the 800 free relay with a school-record 1:36.89 split in his 200 free...placed fifth in the 200 free at the Big East Championship (Feb. 15)...captured a NCAA provisional finish in the 100 free (44.15) at the conference tournament with a fifth-place effort...fourth with an NCAA provisional time as part of the 400 free relay team at the Big East Championship in February...competed in the 50, 100, 200 and 400 free at the Indianapolis Grand Prix...placed second in the 100 free and secured the bronze in the 50 free against Cincinnati (Nov. 11)...captured first in the 200 free and as a member of the 400 free relay team at West Virginia (Jan. 7)...swam on the first-place 200 free relay team and finished second in the 100 free during the first day of the Maryland meet (Jan. 13)...followed that performance by winning the 200 and 500 freestyle events on the second day against the Terps...placed third in the 100 free at Virginia (Jan. 28)...placed second in the 50 free during the Senior Meet (Feb. 4).
2010 - 2011: Finished the season strong after recovering from a shoulder injury...recorded an NCAA provisional finish at the Big East Championship as a member of the 400 free relay team...qualified for the conference championships in the 200 and 500 free...advanced to the consolation finals of the 500 free...won the 200 free during 2011 Senior Recognition meet at Trees Pool.
2009 - 2010: An All-Big East performer in his first season with the Panthers...aided his relay team to NCAA provisional finishes...posted top-ten Big East times in the 100 free, 200 free and 500 free...placed fifth in the 200 free at the Big East Championship...a member of the 400 free relay team that placed second at the Big East Championship...the Pitt Performer of the Meet against St. Bonaventure, winning the 100 and 200 free and a member of the 400 free relay team which took first ...won the 200 free against Louisville, Cincinnati and Carnegie Mellon.
High School: Won the 100 free and was a member of the winning 200 free relay team at the 2009 state championship...placed second in the 200 free at the same event...earned titles in the 100 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay during the conference championships in 2008...a four-time All-American...part of the Egyptian National Team since 2004...World Short Course Championship team member in 2008...placed third in the 200 free and second in the 400 and 800 free relays at the Arab Games in 2007...named an African Games team member...earned first place in the 50 and 200 free, as well as first as a member of the 400 free and medley relays at the Arab Juniors in 2007...swam for El Ahly, competing in National, International and Zone Championships in Egypt.
