2011-2012: Voted the Panther Triad Award, which is given to the student-athlete that best represents Pitt's standards of commitment, teamwork and pride...named a CSCAAAcademic All-America selection...earned NCAA provisional status in the 400 IM (3:54.36) with his sixth-place finish at the Big East Championship (Feb. 17)...recorded an NCAA B cut in the 200 fly (1:46.72) at the BEC with a fifth place finish...held the squad's top time in the 400 IM...placed first in 200 IM and 200 back and third in the 200 fly and 400 IM during the Pitt Invitational...captured second place in the 400 IM against Maryland (Jan. 13)...finished second in the 200 fly against Buffalo (Oct. 21)...placed third in the 200 back against Louisville (Nov. 4)...won the 200 fly and 200 back against Cincinnati (Nov. 11)...placed second in the 100 back at the Senior Meet (Feb. 4)...finishedsecond in the 200 fly andthird in the 200 IM at West Virginia (Jan. 7)...earned a second place finish in the 200 fly and third in the 200 back at Virginia (Jan. 28).
2010 - 2011: Served as a team captain...earned All-Big East honors in the 200 fly after finishing second at the conference championships...set a school record with that performance...qualified for the finals of the 200 fly at the ECAC Championships...finished the season among the Big East top 20 in the 200 IM...finished first in the 200 fly against Buffalo.
2009 - 2010: Earned an NCAA provisional time in the 200 fly during the Big East Championships...recorded his second consecutive trip to the conference meet...posted team top-five times in the 200 fly and 400 IM during the year...placed fourth in the 200 fly and eighth in the 400 IM at the 2010 Big East Championships...finished second in the 100 fly at the ECAC Championships.
2008 - 2009: Named the Most Valuable Swimmer following an impressive rookie season...set freshman records in the 200 fly and 400 IM at the Big East Championships...placed sixth in the 400 IM at the BEC...claimed eighth in the 200 fly and 14th in the 200 IM at the same meet...held the fastest 200 IM on the roster...took second in the 200 fly and third in the 500free against Notre Dame...placed fourth in the 200 IM against West Virginia.
High School: Claimed a second-place finish in the 200 fly at the 2008 South African Olympic Trials...led his team to four conference championships while at Rondebosch...recorded four 200 IM conference titles...competed in three consecutive national meets for the 200 fly...earned a Distinction for swimming.
