2013-2014: Finished first in the 1000 freestyle against Bucknell... Finished second in the 500 freestyle against Bucknell...At the Pitt Panthers Invitational, she finished second in the 500 yard freestyle and in the 1650 yard freestyle...Also finished third in the 400 yard IM...Competed in the 500 free and the 1650 free at the AT&T Winter Nationals...Against WVU, she finished second in the 1000 free and fourth in the 500 free...At the ACC Championship, she made the bonus final in the 500 freestyle and the 400 IM and finished eighteenth in the 1650...Her teammates voted her the winner of the prestigious Panther Triad Award.

2012 - 2013: Against St. Bonaventure in home-opener, Matevish placed second in the 500 free (5:06.18)...Finished second in the 500 free (5:07.29) against Virginia...At away meet against Cincinnati, Matevish placed first in the 1000 free (10:19.65), second in the 500 free and fourth in the 200 fly...Against Notre Dame she placed second in the 1000 free...During the Pitt Invitational Matevish placed fourth in the 500 free and seventh in the 1650...Swam in both distance races against WVU, placing fourth in the women's 1000 yard freestyle and third in the 500 free.

2011 - 2012: Named the team's Panther Triad Award winner, which is given to the student-athlete that best represents Pitt's standards of commitment, teamwork and pride ...Big East Championship qualifier...recorded a 13th overall and season-best finish in the 500 free (4:51.84)...placed 10th overall in the 1,650 free (16:53.82)...also rounded out the top 16 of the 400 IM (4:26.92) at the conference showdown...captured the gold in the 500 free and 200 fly against St. Bonaventure (Oct. 22)...earned second in the 500 free against Cincinnati (Nov. 11)...placed third in the 500 free during the Richmond and Villanova meet (Jan. 14).

2010 - 2011: Posted a 13th place finish and personal best in the 500 free at her first Big East Championship (4:54.64)...also placed 15th in the 1,650 free (17:09.03)...swam Big East Top 15 times in the 500 free and 1,000 free...set an Ocasek Natatorium pool record (10:11.50) with her first-place victory in the 1,000 free at Akron (Oct. 22)...clocked in a 1st place finish in the 1,650 free (16:58.40) and a third place finish in the 500 free (4:55.26) at the Frank Elm Super Splash Invitational (Nov.19)...won the 500 free at the 2011 Senior Recognition Meet (Feb. 5)...earned third place in the 200 fly against St. Bonaventure (Oct. 16).

High School: A distance swimmer, who also competes in the 200 fly...her best times were 1:54.66 in the 200 free, 4:59.12 in the 500 free and 17:25 in the 1,650 free.

Personal: Lauren and her two siblings Alex and Kelsey are triplets...Favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine...Enjoys scrapbooking and photography.
