2012 - 2013: Against St. Bonaventure, Lierley finished second in three individual events: the 200 fly, 200 IM and 100 fly...Finished second in the 100 butterfly (50.56) and third in the 200 IM against UVa...On the road against Cincinnati Lierley placed first in the 200 free (1:41.71) and second in the 100 fly...Placed third against Notre Dame in both the men's 100 and 200 yard butterfly...Finished first in the men's 800 yard freestyle relay while placing second in the 200 yard IM, 200 yard butterfly, and 200 and 400 yard medley relays at the Pitt Invitational...Lierley placed 19th in the 200 Butterfly at the AT&T Winter Nationals held at the University of Texas...Lierley also swam a season-best time of 1:48.60 and finished third in his heat of the 200 Fly C Finals...Finished second in the men's 100 and 200 yard butterfly races while also taking third in the 200 IM against WVU...Aided the 200 medley relay team to a fourth place finish while individually placing second in the100 free and third in the 50 free at the Western PA Invitational.
