2012 - 2013: Against St. Bonaventure, Maczewski had four first place finishes -- the 100 back, 200 back, 200 medley relay and 200 free relay. Took first place in the 100 back (49.50) versus Virginia while also finishing third in the 200 back and second in the 400 free relay...Against Cincinnati he placed first in the 100 back and 200 back...Against Notre Dame he placed first in the 100 back and 200 back...At the Pitt Invitational Maczewski swam a career-best in the 100 back (47.59), also won the 200 back and was part of the winning 400 Medley Relay and 200 Medley Relay teams...At the AT&T Winter Nationals held at the University of Texas Maczewski placed 23 in the 100 back with a time of 48.90...swam a 48.51 in the prelims...also part of the 4x100 team of Lierley, Sweeney and Rice that placed 10th with a time of 3:05.61...Took first place in both the men's 100 yard backstroke and 200 yard medley relay in an overall victory against West Virginia...Aided in the second place finishes of both the 200 medley and 200 free relay teams while placing fourth individually in the 50 free at the Western PA Invitational.
2010 - 2011: Earned his first individual ECAC crown with a first-place finish in the 100 back...garnered All-Big East honors in the 100 back and as a member of the 200 medley relay...set the school record in the 100 back when he finished second at the conference championships...placed fourth in the 200 back at the Big East Meet...honored as the Big East Male Athlete of the Week (Feb. 10)...named the Pitt Performer of the Meet during the Maryland/Penn State and Notre Dame meets...won the 100 back in every dual meet during the season...set a then-school record in the 100 back against Virginia...assisted in the school record the 200 free relay team shattered at the Frank Elm Invite...came from behind to win the 200 back during the Buffalo meet...a member of the first-place 400 medley relay team against both St. Bonaventure and Buffalo.
2009-10: Earned All-Big East honors as a rookie...Pitt's 50 and 100 back school recordholder...posted top-five Big East times in the 50 back and 100 back...named Pitt Performer of the Meet against Virginia...won the 100 and 200 back against Duquesne, where he set a Towers Pool record...a member of the 200 medley relay team that won an ECAC title...second in the 50 free and fourth in the 100 back at the Polish National Swim Meet in the Open category, finishing first in the 50 back and second in the 100 back within his age group...joined the team in January.
