2013-2014: Finished second in the 100 backstroke against Bucknell... Finished third in the 200 backstroke against Bucknell...At the Pitt Panthers Invitational, he took first place in the 200 yard medley relay and finished third in the 200 yard backstroke...Competed at the AT&T Winter Nationals...Finished third in the 100 back against Denison...First place finish in the 100 and 200 backstroke against Villanova...Finished first in the 100 and 200 back at the Western Pa. Invite...Competed at the ACC Championships...Swam in the consol final and set a season best time in the 100 backstroke (49.95) at the ACC Championships.

2012-2013: Against St. Bonaventure he was part of the 200 medley relay team that placed third and individually finished fourth in both the 100 and 200 back... Placed fourth in the 200 back(1:57.04)and fifth in the 100 back against Cincinnati...Against Notre Dame he placed fourth in the 100 back...At the Pitt Invitational he had career-bests in the 200 IM (1:55.26), 200 back and 100 back...At West Virginia, he was part of both the 200 medley relay team and the 400 free relay team that placed third...Placed third in the 200 yard medley relay at the Western PA Invitational where he also took first in the 200 yard back.

High School: Served as captain of the four-time team state champion team...is a six-time individual/relay state champion...captured the state title in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke...holds a state record in the 200 medley...three-time first team all-state selection and one time all-American...finished second as senior top athlete...voted Sportsman of the Year...won both the Provincial Medal of Honor and the Jefferson Cup Award.

Personal: Born April 1, 1994...son of Joseph and Karen Tankle...has two sisters, Denise (20) and Bernadette (16)...Dual major in finance and supply chain management.
