Two Panthers turned in Olympic Trial cuts during summer competitions
Zach Lierley qualifies for two finals and earns a Junior Nationals time in one.
Kinga Cichowska had a U.S. Olympic Trial qualifying time for the second straight day.
Both teams had top-50 GPA's in the entire country.
Men close out the season with five straight wins, while the women won their seventh in a row.
2014-15: In the season opener against Duke, placed fifth in the 50 free and sixth in the 100 free ... At Georgia Tech/Georgia Southern, was fifth in both the 50 and 100 free and helped Pitt win the 400 free relay ... Won the 50 free and led Pitt to the fastest time in the 200 free relay against St. Bonaventure ... Finished first in the 100 free and sixth in the 200 free versus Bucknell ... Took fifth in the 50 free at Notre Dame/Virginia Tech ... At the Pitt Invite, placed sixth in the 50 free, 11th in the 100 free and helped Pitt to second in the 200 free relay ... Finished third in the 50 free at Denison ... Placed second in the 100 free and fifth in the 200 free at the Senior Recognition Meet ... Was third in the 50 free and helped Pitt win the 400 free relay at Villanova ... At the ECAC Championships, swam in one championship final, placing sixth in the 100 free, and one consolation final, taking ninth in the 50 free, in addition to helping Pitt finish second in the 400 free relay.
2013-14: Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll ... Finished first in the 50 freestyle against St. Bonaventure...Finished second in the 100 freestyle against St. Bonaventure...
