2014-15:Team captain ... In the season opener against Duke, had three top-four individual finishes, going second in the 100 back, third in the 100 fly and fourth in the 200 IM, along with a second place finish in the 200 medley relay ... At Georgia Tech/Georgia Southern, won the 200 IM, along with placing third in the 100 back, sixth in the 100 fly and helped Pitt to second in the 200 medley relay ... Against St. Bonaventure, won the 100 back and was fourth in the 400 IM ... Repeated as 100 back champ the following day against Bucknell and also posted the fastest 200 IM time, in addition to a runner-up finish in the 100 fly and a team win in the 200 medley relay ... Placed sixth in the 400 IM at Notre Dame/Virginia Tech ... At the Pitt Invite, took second in the 200 fly, fourth in the 400 IM and 10th in the 100 breast, while helping Pitt to first in the 200 medley relay and second in the 400 medley relay ... Finished third in the 100 butterfly against Bucknell...Against Notre Dame and Virginia Tech, he placed third in the 100 yard backstroke... At the Pitt Panthers Invitational, he took first place in the 400 yard medley relay...Competed in the bonus final of the 200 IM at the AT&T Winter Nationals...Finished eleventh in 200 medley relay at the AT&T winter nationals...Finished fourth in the 100 backstroke and first in the 200 IM against Virginia...Broke the 200 medley relay record at the ACC Championships...Broke his own record and earned a personal best in the 200 IM at the ACC Championship...Advanced to the bonus final in the 400 IM and broke the school record as well as advanced to the consol final of the 200 butterfly.
2012-13:Broke the school record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:48.92... Placed first in the 200 IM (1:53.52) against Virginia...At away meet against Cincinnati Rice placed first in the 400 IM (4:07.40), second in the 200 fly (1:52.10) and third in the 500 free...Against Notre Dame he placed first in the 200 IM, second in the 200 back and fourth in the 200 fly...At the Pitt Invitational he broke the school record for the 200 IM with a time of 1:48.92 -- winning the event...also placed second in the 400 IM, and 200 back, all career-bests...At the AT&T Winter Nationals held at the University of Texas Rice swam a 1:51.35 in the 200 IM...Finished first in the men's 200 yard IM as well as second in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke and 200 yard medley relay against WVU
