2005-2006: Shoust earned All-Big East accolades after her performances on the 200 and 400 medley relays...claimed the top time on the team's performance list in the 100 and 200 backstroke and fifth in the 50 freestyle...set career times in the 50 and 200 backstroke.
2004-2005: Shoust is in her second year with the Panthers and was the Panthers' top swimmer in the backstroke events...obtained All-Big East honor for her time in the 200 backstroke and as a member of the 400 free, 200 medley and 400 medley relay...had a Big East top time in both backstroke events...participated in the Big East Championships for a second time...placed third in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:01.81, fourth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 56.13...voted the Panther Triad for representing commitment, pride and teamwork.
2003-2004: Shoust made an immediate impact for the Panthers as a freshman, serving as one of the team's top backstrokers in single and relay events...had the team's fastest time in the 100 back with 57.0 seconds and placed ninth at her first Big East Championships in that event...helped the 400 medley relay team to a fourth-place finish, just missing All-Big East honors...a Big East Academic All-Star.
HIGH SCHOOL: Shoust qualified for the Canadian Olympic trials at age 14...was a provincial champion in the freestyle while at White Pines...has been a nationally ranked swimmer in Canada since age 10...was a Junior National medalist and champion.
PERSONAL: Born November 6, 1985...daughter of Fred and Riley Shoust...has one brother...a secondary education major.
