2011 - 2012: Earned All-Big East honors, set a school record and turned in a NCAA provisional finish as a member of the 200 medley and 800 free relay teams during the Big East Championship at Trees Pool...recorded season-bests of 20.65 and 45.04 in the 50 and 100 free, respectively, at the BEC...captured first in the 100 and 200 freestyle events and as a member of the 200 medley relay team against St. Bonaventure (Oct. 22)...member of the winning 800 free, 400 medley and 200 free relay teams during the Pitt Invitational...won the 200 free during the same invitational with a season-best 1:40.36... finished first with the 400 free relay team against Notre Dame (Oct. 28)...clinched silver in the 100 free and with the 200 medley relay during the Louisville meet (Nov. 4)...placed third in the 50 free and the 100 free against the Irish...seized first in the 50 and 100 free against Cincinnati (Nov. 11))...captured first with the 400 free relay team and anchored the second-place 200 medley relay team at West Virginia (Jan. 7)...led the 400 free relay team to a first-place finish again Maryland (Jan. 14)...finished second as a member of the 200 free and 200 medley relays against Virginia (Jan. 28)...touched first in the 100 fly, 200 free and as a member of the 200 free relay during the senior meet (Feb. 4).

2010 - 2011: Earned All-Big East honors as a member of the 200 free relay team...assisted in the 800 free relay's top-five Big East Championship performance...garnered top-10 finishes in the 100 free and 200 free at the conference meet...finished third in the 50 free at the ECAC Championship meet...placed second in the 100 free against West Virginia...broke a meet record at the Frank Elm Invite as part of the 200 free relay team...assisted in the 400 free relay team's victory over Cincinnati and Notre Dame...won the 200 free against St. Bonaventure.

2009-10: Earned a berth in his first-ever Big East Championships...a member of the fourth-place 800 free relay team that recorded a NCAA provisional mark at the BEC...posted a seed in the consolation finals of 200 free at the conference meet...placed second in the 200 free against Cincinnati...a member of the 400 free relay team which took tenth place in the Ohio State Invitational.

At New Orleans: Jake Van Roekel finished fourth in the 200 free at the Sun Belt Conference meet...school-record holder in the 200 free...swam the team's second-fastest 200 IM at the conference meet (1:52.94)...recorded the team's third-fastest 100 free and 10-fly time at the SBC...a member of the 400 free relay team that bested the previous UNO record by eight seconds...a member of the UNO record-setting 800 free relay team, breaking the previous record by 19 seconds...swam on the 200 medley relay team that set the UNO record with a time of 1:33.01...set a then-school record in the 200 free with a time of 1:44.65.

High School: Van Roekel placed third in the 100 and 200 free at the 2007 Iowa State Championships...the 2007 District Swimmer of the Year...2008 Academic All-State...named team captain...2008 Scholastic Award winner.
