2004-2005: Darryl Washington enters his senior year as co-captain of the swim team after making his third consecutive Big East Championship performance...vital member of the 200 free relay team which won the Big East Championship...member of the 400 medley relay team that placed third and the 400 free relay that finished fifth in the conference championships...Big East Champion in the 50 free...placed second in the 100 free at the championships...named Most Valuable Swimmer...awarded the Panther Triad for his commitment, teamwork and pride to the Panthers...selected to compete in the ConocoPhillips National Championships.

2003-2004: Washington earned his first Big East title with the 800 freestyle relay team and a total of five All-Big East honors in his sophomore year, giving him a total of eight in two seasons...placed third in the 50 freestyle and fifth in both the 100 and 200 free at the league meet...helped 200 freestyle and 400 medley relay teams to second-place finishes and the 400 freestyle relay to a third-place finish...elected to participate in the NCAA Leadership Council over the summer.

2002-2003: Washington was one of the Panthers' top sprinters in just his first season with the team...had an outstanding conference meet, finishing in fourth place in the 100 freestyle and placing sixth in the 200 free...also helped the 400 freestyle relay team to a Big East title and two other relay teams to All-Big East honors...was an integral part of four relays throughout the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Washington was the Del-Valley champion and record holder in the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 breaststroke...was a US Open qualifier in seven events...three-time district qualifier at Penn Wood High School...holds the record in the 100 breast, 100 free and 50 free...also played varsity soccer.

PERSONAL: Born July 22, 1983...son of Lottie Washington...an Africana studies/secondary education major.
