INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Two Panthers are headed to the finals this evening, on the first day of the Big East Championship meet, at Indiana University Natatorium.
For the men, senior Erik Moore finished fifth in the preliminaries on the 1M diving board with 286.50 points to qualify for the finals. Qualifying for the finals for the women was sophomore Angelika McGhee who placed sixth in the preliminaries on the 3M board with 264.55 points.
The finals for the men’s 1M board and the women’s 3M board will take place at 6 p.m. tonight. In addition, the swimming portion of the Big East Championship meet begins tonight with both the men and women’s 800 free relay events and the 200 medley relay events.
