Galante advanced to both the 1M and Platform finals at the NCAA Zone A Qualifying Meet

Men's 1M and Women's 3M Results | Platform Results
BLACKSBURG, Va. – Freshman Anthony Galante dominated the boards for the Panthers in the final two events of the NCAA Zone A Qualifying Meet at the Christianburg Aquatic Center on the campus of Virginia Tech. Galante made the finals of the men's 1 meter competition and on Platform, placing ninth and fifth, respectively.
Galante qualified tenth and finish ninth with a total score of 600.15 in the 1M event. Micahel Mosca of Harvard placed first in the event with a total score of 690.25, and Kyle Butts of Virginia Tech was second with 677.20 as those two advanced to the NCAA Championships Meet. On Platform, Galante qualified and placed fifth with a final score of 614.35.
For the women, sophomore Sam Winkelmann placed 16th and finished 17th overall in the 3M finals (505.45).
Junior Harris Bergman placed 20th in the men's 1 meter competition and eighth in the Platform, while freshman Rachel Saunders took home 35th overall in the women's 3M event. Neither Bergman nor Saunders made the finals in their respective events.
Next up for Pitt Swimming and Diving, the women’s NCAA Championships where Kaleigh Ritter will represent for the Panthers. The Championship Meet will being on Thursday, March 20th and will conclude on Saturday, March 22nd in Minneapolis, Minn.
