PITTSBURGH-The University of Pittsburgh is set to host the diving portion of the 2012 Big East Swimming and Diving Championship on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at the Trees Pool.
This marks the second time in the past three years the conference meet will be held at Trees Pool. Pitt has hosted the meet 16 times prior to this season.
Two Panthers, junior Erik Moore and sophomore Aaron Snyder are making consecutive trips to the Big East Championship. Last season, Snyder placed eighth in the finals of the 1M event and was 15th overall on the 3M board. Moore turned in an 11th-place effort in the 1M event.
On the women's side junior Brittany DiSanti and sophomores Tori Brungo, Kimberly Ciotti and Leigh Waltz are returning to the conference championship. DiSanti and Waltz placed among the top-20 on both boards last season.
