PITTSBURGH—Freshman Cam Dixon claimed another rookie record this morning, as the University of Pittsburgh women’s swim team is set for the final night of competition at the BIG EAST Swimming & Diving Championships at Trees Pool.
Dixon finished seventh in the 200 breast prelims, touching the wall at 2:15.66. That time shattered sophomore Veronica Lee’s 2:17.42 from last January. Dixon has a chance to capture the school record of 2:15.29 (Laura Barnes) tonight.
