OLSZTYN, Poland-Junior Adam Maczewski recorded two top-10 finishes while competing at the Polish Senior National Championships this week.

Swimming at the long course national meet, Maczewski registered a fourth-place finish in the finals of the 50 back when he touched the wall at 26.44. That time improved upon his previous sixth-place performance in the prelims (26.78).

In the 100 back, Maczewski placed ninth overall with a time of 57.60. Earlier in the prelims, he turned in a 10th–place effort at 58.18.

Maczewski holds school records in the 50 and 100 backstroke events. He also garnered All-Big East honors in the 100 and 200 back events at the conference championship this past season.
