Olympic Trial Results

OMAHA, Neb.—Pitt men's swimmer Luke Nosbisch competed at the 2012 Olympic trials Monday afternoon. The sophomore swam the 100M breast at the CenturyLink Center.

Swimming in the seventh of 16 heats, Nosbisch recorded a 1:06.40 finish in the event. Although he did not advance out of the prelims in the 100, Nosbisch will have another shot to make the Olympic team in the 200M breast races on Thursday, June 28.

Joining Nosbisch in Omaha this week are sophomores Jon Lierley and Austin Caldwell. Below is the schedule of events for each Pitt swimmer.

Wednesday, June 27
Jon Lierley – 200M Butterfly

Thursday, June 28
Luke Nosbisch – 200M Breaststroke

Saturday, June 30
Austin Caldwell – 50M Freestyle
