OMAHA, Neb. - Pitt sophomore swimmer Luke Nosbisch recorded a seventh-place performance in his heat of the 200 breast when he touched the wall at 2:24.12 Thursday afternoon. Nosbisch was competing in his second event at the U.S. Olympic Trials at the CenturyLink Center this week.
On Monday, Nosbisch claimed a 1:06.40 finish in the 100 breast, while classmate Jon Lierley turned in a 2:04.70 effort in the 200 fly on Wednesday.
Sophomore Austin Caldwell will swim in his first-ever 50 free Olympic Trial on Saturday.
