2015-16: Second Team All-America...Placed 12th at NCAAs in weight throw...USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Region Field Athlete of the Year...ACC weight throw champion...ACC Men’s Field Co-Performer of the Week on 1/19…Threw a school record 21.92m in the weight throw to win the ACC title.
2014-15: Broke his career and school record in the hammer throw (62.67) at the 2015 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships…Had the highest score at the UNF Invitational for the Discus Throw…Set his career-high and extended his school record in the Weight Throw during the YSU Invitational on 1/23…First place finisher at the Penn State National Meet on 1/31…Won the Weight Throw competition during the Nittany Lion Challenge on 1/17…Placed first in the Weight Throw portion of the PSU Relays.
2013-14: Top performer in the Hammer Throw at the ECAC/IC4A Championships…Broke his personal and school record in the Discus twice during the Tennessee Sea Ray Relays (4/12/14)…Posted a career high and school record in the Weight Throw during the 2014 ACC Track and Field Championships…Placed first in the Discus Throw at the UNF Invite on 3/27…Recorded a career high in the Weight Throw at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet.
2012-2013: Placed third in the men's discus and eighth in the hammer at the Charlotte 49er Classic...set a new personal and school record at the Big East Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw with a distance of 56.32 meters, placing seventh...Competed in the Penn State National in the men's weight throw (35 lbs.) with a posted distance of 17.21 meters, placing sixth...threw in the Akron invitational men's weight throw with a posted distance of 16.83 meters, a personal best.

Texas A&M-Kingsville: Division II All-America in discus...discus personal best was 55.10M...hammer personal best was 54.39M...received Honors Award for having above 3.5 GPA.
High School: 2010 National junior champion for Canada...OFSAA champion...attended IAAF 2010 World Junior championships and had a personal record of 57.28M for his throw...also former hockey captain and MVP.
Personal: Born on August 6, 1991...son of Angie and Steven Wells...has three siblings, Athena (32), Stephanie (28) and Sarah (24) who currently attends the University of Toronto and is an Olympic 400 MH...working toward a bachelor in business administration...plays the guitar...Wells' motto, "every day is almost perfect- that way their is enough room for improvement."
