2012-13 Indoor— Competed in the Penn State National in the men's 200M dash placing first with a posted time of 21.01, a new personal best and also a new school record, earning him Big East Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors...set a record at the Penn State National in the 400M dash with a time of 46.25...competed at the SPIRE Invitational in the men's 400M dash placing second with a posted time of 46.30...Big East Champion in the 500M dash with a time of 1:00.37...ran the world's third fastest time in the history of the event...set an NCAA record with that time...named the Male Track Most Outstanding Performer of the meet...member of the first place, record-breaking 4x400 meter relay team (3:07.32), sixth fastest time in the nation...finished out the indoor season running in the 400M dash and 4x400 relay at the NCAA Championships, earning Second-Team All-American status in the process.
Outdoor— Set the school record in the 4x200 and the 4x400 meter relay at the Penn Relays...1:23.77 in the 4x200M relay and 3:04.16 in the 4x400M relay, a school record and the then fifth fastest time in the nation...finished second overall in the Big East Outdoor Championships in the 400M dash with a posted time of 45.94...competed at the NCAA Nationals in the 400M dash and gained the status of Second Team All-American Honors...competed at USA Nationals in the 400M dash breaking his own school record, posting a time of 45.71 and finishing 11th overall.
2011-12 Indoor: Placed sixth in the 60M (7.60) and second in the 800M (1:53.14) at the Golden Flash Gala...Competed at the Penn State Relays with a first-place finish in the 500M (1:01.86)...finished first in the 200M at the Penn State Nittany Lion Challenge running a 21.34 and seventh in the 60M with a time of 7.04...raced with the 4x400M relay team that set a new school record (3:07.33) and also broke the Penn State Nittany Lion Challenge meet and Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track facility records with that time...finished seventh in the 400M at the Penn State National Open running a 47.40...finished seventh in the 200M at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational with a time of 21.62...at his first Big East Championship took the 200M dash title with a time of 21.16...also claimed the 500M title running 1:00.63 and set a new American Collegiate Record...placed fourth at the USA Indoor Championships in the 400M (46.16)...finished second, set a career best of 45.82 and claimed the school record in the 400M dash at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
High School: A decorated high school athlete, Spratling was the sectional, county and state champion in the 400M his senior season with a best time of 46.81 seconds...All-County in the 100M and 200M dash his senior season...transferred to Pitt from Eastern Michigan where he was the two-time MAC Champion in the 400M dash.
