2014-2015 Indoor: Finished first in the ACC Championship in the high jump with a jump of 20.02m…Placed second in the ACC Championship in both the high jump and long jump with marks of 7.17m and 23’05m, respectively….Had school record scores of 5.159 in the heptathlon and 6,884 in the decathlon and Posted personal bests in seven different events: 7.17s in the 60m, 1:27.61 in the 1000m, 2:48.34 in the 1500m, 8.67s in the 110mH, a 3.60m long jump, 7.02m shot put and 11.91m discus…Ranked 14 in the nation in high jump, 19 in the long jump and six in the heptathlon. 2014-2015 Outdoor: Placed first in the ACC Championships with a mark of 57.58m in the javelin throw and 2.05m in the high jump… Registered a personal best 6,884 in the decathlon and a 57.78m in the heptathlon….Had a personal best 50.95 in the 400m at the ACC Championship, which was good for seventh…Ranked 77 in the nation in the decathlon…
2013-14 Indoor: Recorded a 1.95M in the high jump at the YSU Invite.
2013-14 Outdoor: Placed second overall in the men's high jump and also competed in the long jump at the Charlotte 49er.
2011-2012 Outdoor: A member of the 400M relay that finished fifth at the Charlotte 49er Classic...Placed sixth in the high jump at the Big East Championship Meet (6-08.25).
2011-12 Indoor: Claimed a first-place finish in the high jump (6-11.0) and placed 12thoverall in the heptathlon (4,374 points) at the Golden Flash Gala...finished first and set a career best in the high jump (6-8.31) and placed sixth in the long jump (21-11.38) at the Penn State Relays...posted a top-five finish at the Nittany Lion Challenge in the high jump...Finished 10thin the high jump (6-7.92) at the Spire Invitational...placed 10thin the high jump at the Big East Championships with a jump of 6-4.37.
High School: Luke Gallaher was voted two-time high jump state champ...took fifth place at states in the long jump for two consecutive years...all-state in both track and basketball...high school national All-America in the high jump...member of all-state for track in 2010 and 2011...placed sixth in the high jump at the New Balance Nationals...also holds school record for all-time leading scorer...also played basketball, all-state player both his junior and senior season...the leading scorer in PA his junior season and was second in the state his senior season with 1,975 points.
Personal: Born on January 11, 1993...son of Chip and Donna Gallaher...has one sister, Casey who currently attends St. Francis...majoring in pre-medicine.
