GREENSBORO, North Carolina – Brycen Spratling has been recognized as the Atlantic Coast Conference Track and Field Men’s Co-Performer of the Week (May 13), alongside Florida State’s Dentarius Locke. This marks the fourth time Spratling has been honored during Pitt’s inaugural season in the ACC.
Brycen Spratling continues to put in top performances in the 400 meter dash event, putting forth another winning performance at the Virginia Challenge last Friday. Spratling took first in the event and reset his own school record with a time of 45.22, improving upon his personal best time by 0.24 seconds. This fast time not only marked a personal achievement, but also put Spratling in the Lannigan Field record books, as he set a record time for the facility in this event. The former facility record of 45.68 was set by Bryan Swarn of Georgia Tech in 2002.
