Pittsburgh - The University of Pittsburgh participated in the annual Duquesne Duals at Schenley Park with both the men's and women's teams posting identical 3-3 records.

The women's team had a pair of runners finish in the top 15. Junior Amanda Schmidt (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) posted a time of 19:06.08 to finish eighth, while senior Sarah McMillan (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg Area) finished 12th with a time of 19:06.22. Schmidt and McMillan were also the Panthers' top two finishers in the season opener at West Virginia. The men's team was led by freshman Mike Diano (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills), who placed 15th with a time of 22:07.15.
