PITTSBURGH- The University of Pittsburgh cross country team will participate in its second meet in as many weekends when it travels to Easton, Pa. on Saturday to participate in the Leopard Invitational.
The event, hosted by Lafayette University, will start with the men’s 8K at 10 a.m., followed by the women’s 5K at 10 a.m.
The race will consist of 13 teams on both the men’s and women’s side. In addition to Pitt, schools such as Seton Hall, Lafayette, American University, George Washington University, LaSalle and Saint Francis (Pa.) will be competing.
The Panthers are coming off a strong performance in the CMU Invitational where the women’s team came in sixth place and the men’s team finished in seventh.
On the men’s side, sophomore Ben Kisley continued his impressive season with a 19th-place finish.
