Panthers open 2013 season on Friday at Wichita State
2012: Finished the season with a 4-1 record as a starter, pitching at least five innings in each of his five starts...pitched in 16 games as a reliever, tied for the second most relief appearances on the team...posted a 4.07 ERA with 39 strikeouts and 17 walks in 21 total appearances...held the opposition to a .277 batting average, the fifth-best mark on the staff...his 55.1 innings of work totaled for the fourth-most on the team...struck out a career high seven batters against Youngstown State on May 15, allowing just two hits and no runs...pitched 3.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen against nationally-ranked Louisville on May 19...put together three consecutive winning decisions against Ohio (May 1), Akron (May 8), and Youngstown State (May 15) as a starting pitcher.
2011: Posted a 4-3 record and 2.81 ERA (second-best on the team) in 57.2 innings...tied for second on the team with 55 strikeouts...led the team with five saves.
2010: Allowed no earned runs in his first four relief appearances...ended the season with a 2-0 record and 4.34 ERA in 47.1 innings pitched...tossed seven innings against West Virginia on April 25 for his first career win...gave up just one run in seven innings of work against Cincinnati on May 16...held opposing teams scoreless in six of his 12 relief appearances.
High School: Led Northern Valley to the Group 3 State Championship his junior year and state sectionals his senior year...made all-county, All-Group 3, and all-league teams his sophomore, junior, and senior years...recorded a career total of 92 strikeouts in 39 appearances...the fourth-most winningest pitcher in his school's history...played for the New Jersey Twins from 2006-08 and the South Florida Bandits in 2009.
