Played four years on the North Hills High School baseball team...started every game from his sophomore to senior year...in his junior year he had a .455 batting average and helped his team to the quarterfinals in the playoffs...had his best season when he batted .469 his senior year...holds the team record for most triples in a season (9)...in 2007, he was All-Section, selected to team Under Armour in the wood bat tournament, selected to Team Pennsylvania in "National Battle of the States" tournament...was named to many honors his senior year as well: All-Section, WPIAL All-Star team, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette North All-Star, Under Armour Pre-Season All-American, team MVP and team captain...was in the 2007 National Junior Olympics with Team Steel...took 13th in the nation and Fairbrother batted .625 during the series...played four years for the North Hills Palomino's and went to the Regional Playoffs all four years, winning once...led the Palomino's in hits, RBI's, runs, OB %, slugging % and triples in the last two seasons...Fairbrother was also a three time selection to the Palomino East-West All-Star game.
Born January 6, 1990...son of Jay and Lynda Fairbrother...has one sister, Kelly (16)...a communications major.
