Kielty was a member of the Canadian Junior National Team and a member of Team Ontario...was selected as a Central Ontario Baseball Association All-Star...ranked the eighth-best Prep player in Canada and the 11th overall professional prospect in Canada by Baseball America...hit .441 as a senior at Burlington Central, earning Toronto Star All-Star honors.
