JUNIOR (2008)
Started 46 of 47 games played for the Panthers in 2008...primarily a first baseman, but filled in behind the plate in three games...batted .277, tallying 48 hits on the year, 14 of which went for extra bases...recorded two or more hits 16 times and was 3-for-3 with a run scored in a 6-3 win over St. John's on April 18...enjoyed a 10-game hitting streak between April 13-30, setting a new career-high...went 2-for-2 with a double and a triple, driving in a season-high three runs in a 25-5 win against Coppin State May 7...stole five bases in seven attempts...had a team-high 374 putouts against just 10 errors for a .976 fielding percentage, the second highest on the team.

Kielty made 41 starts in 43 appearances, serving as the Panthers primary designated hitter...posted a .256 batting average with 40 hits, including eight doubles, one triple and four homeruns for 35 RBI...held a .397 slugging percentage with 62 total bases and 22 runs scored...posted 171 putouts and 18 assists with only three errors and nine double plays...went 2-3 in season opener, blasting first collegiate homerun and first collegiate double with one RBI and two runs scored to help the Panthers to an 11-5 win over Coastal Carolina...went 2-4 in a 16-6 win over Sacred Heart, including a single and second-career homerun, a two-run shot to give the Panthers a seven-run lead...had a run-scoring double in an 8-1 win vs. Seton Hall...went 2-4 vs. Duquesne with two RBI in an 18-8 win...gathered four RBI in a close 9-8 loss to Notre Dame, three of which came on a bases-clearing double to give Pitt a 3-0 lead in the top of the first...went 2-5 in a 7-4, 11-inning loss to Penn State at Falconi Field, tallying a career-high seven bases with a triple and third career homerun...had a career-best four hits in a 15-1 win over Ohio University, including one double and two RBI...had first career grand slam in 10-6 win over Akron...went 3-4 in 14-0 shutout vs. Georgetown with two doubles, a single and an RBI...ended the season with a six-game hitting streak...tallied eight multi-hit games.

Kielty was a member of the Canadian Junior National Team and a member of Team Ontario...was selected as a Central Ontario Baseball Association All-Star...ranked the eighth-best Prep player in Canada and the 11th overall professional prospect in Canada by Baseball America...hit .441 as a senior at Burlington Central, earning Toronto Star All-Star honors.
