FRESHMAN (2006): Rob Lawler made 18 starts in 25 appearances for the Panthers...posted a .270 batting average with 20 hits, including four doubles, one triple, one homerun and eight RBIs for a .392 slugging percentage...saw first collegiate action Feb. 25 vs. Belmont, getting first career hit...made first career starts vs. St. John's on April 8 at third base... hit first collegiate triple in a 9-5 win over Villanova...blasted first career homerun in a 10-6 win over Akron as part of the Panthers' eight-run sixth inning...went 2-3 with two singles in a close 17-14 loss to Kent State...had six multi-hit games.
