2014: Led the Panthers with a 2.17 ERA...Threw 29.0 innings over 16 appearances...Recorded a win against Ohio throwing five shutout innings...Allowed one earned run or fewer in 14 of 16 appearances...Threw shutout ball in 10 appearances... Had a 2.89 ERA in seven conference appearances.
2013: Saw action in 10 games, making three starts in 2013...pitched a season high 5.0 innings with two strikeouts, helping the Panthers earn a victory at Penn State...earned a victory over Youngstown State by going 4.0 innings with six strikeouts...didn't allow a run in his final three appearances of the season against Akron, Georgetown and Louisville.
2012: Made two appearances as a starting pitcher before suffering a season-ending injury...recorded his first strikeout as a Panther in a 12-7 loss to Indiana during the Big East/Big Ten Challenge on Feb. 19.
2011: Redshirted the season.
High School: Curtis recorded 19 career wins, four saves and 222 strikeouts with Philipsburg-Osceola High School...threw four career no-hitters and one perfect game...was rated the No. 271 best 2010 prospect in the country by PGCrosschecker.com...led Philipsburg to three conference championship titles, one district championship and an appearance in the Final Four of the Pennsylvania state championship in his four years of varsity play...set his school record for wins and strikeouts in a season and career...four-time Pitcher of the Year...selected first team all-conference three consecutive years...two-time League MVP and All-County Pitcher of the Year...named Rookie of the Year following his freshman campaign...selected to the Rawlings All-America team as a senior...spent two years with the Allegheny Pirates and Orioles Scout Team...also played basketball...two-time Defensive Player of the Year...member of the National Honor Society.
